Perhaps the most remarkable thing about our October, 2006 reunion was the fact that David Yates drove 220 miles (from Plymouth) to be there!

On 1st August 2007, the 18 troops of Birmingham's Spitfire District held Sunrise and Sunset ceremonies to commemorate the centenary of Scouting. By remarkable good fortune these were held on Hodge Hill Common, only yards from where we used to meet. Three of us went to the Sunrise ceremony and five to that at Sunset, renewed our Scout Promise, and joined in the celebrations. (L. to R.): Michael Davison, John Page, Roy England, Geoff Page |
In April 2008 David Howells joined us for the first time in 58 years!:
