XWA Screenshot Vs. 3DS MAX Render

This picture was created as a screenshot in XWA by creating a custom mission file with the required positioning and lighting and then carefully trying to get the right angle.

This picture was created by converting OPT files to 3DS and then rendered in 3DS MAX with relatively simply lighting (more of a test of the conversion than anything else).

As you can see although the MAX picture could have been made much fancier the XWA game engine is capable of creating a picture of the same quality. In fact I could have added extra lightsources to the XWA mission as well to make that fancier as well.
