New Developments

Members who have been managing to get out for a few holes over the Winter months will have noticed a number of areas that have been improved. A number of areas were identified as a priority in terms of providing better drainage arrangements. The bunkers at the 13th and the green surround at the 15th have both been tackled. Drainage work on the 1st has been completed and the path from the 16th green to the 17th tee has been upgraded and resurfaced.

New tees have been finished at the 3rd (ladies), 7th (ladies), 14th (gents medal), and the 17th (gents). The area behind the 17th green has been rotavated and prepared for seeding. It is anticipated that construction of the new 17th green which is to be sited over the burn will start after the Rotary AM/AM event in August.

A programme of tree planting is underway and a significant upgrading of the clubhouse is also planned with a view to improving the entrance to the clubhouse and widening the steps to make them a little safer.
