The `hire the bus` page has been removed. However, the bus is available for use in the Greater Manchester area for bus enthusiasts, bus enthusiast groups and societies and for photographic outings. Contact us using the links on the `further information` page.

The `local day trips` format has been revised due to various issues. No route numbers will be shown. The number used will be the job number listed on the `forthcoming outings` pages, however the destination will continue to be shown. Our day trips have been timed so not to wait in bus stations. Also some specialist tours or may pick up away from bus stations. Further information will be given on confirmation.

The bus now sports a new coloured rear end. This task was completed in May 2009 and replaces the shabby looking blue finish from the previous rear end advert. Retro Railtours have sponsored this and have now placed their advertising material in the vacant space.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed in some way, be it from driving & maintenance to the people that have used the bus. I hope that you have enjoyed the experience.

I would also like to apologise for the delay in posting info to the site. My work backlog is finally going down now, but the previous update was cancelled due to server connection problems.

The bus has had major renewal work done at Phoenix Motors in Ince, replacing many worn-out parts. Minor problems with the fuel pump still plague us but the machine is otherwise in full working order, with previous known faults all cleared.
