John Raybould
Library Manager
John has been the Manager of Bodmin Library for the past three years. Before this he worked at Bude and Camelford Libraries. Before coming to Cornwall in 1995 John worked for the Steel industry. Johns interests are surfing and sea fishing, which he does at every opportunity regardless of the weather.

Full time library assistant
John Has worked for the library service for two years, firstly on the Mobile Library Service, then as relief assistant at Padstow, Launceston, Wadebridge and Bodmin Libraries. He has also provided relief cover for St Austell and Liskeard Mobile Libraries. John's spare time is mainly occupied by renovating and repairing their 250 year old cottage and playing golf (badly).
Elizabeth Garvin. HND
Study Support Officer
Beth has been working for the library service for two years now , but has many years experience working for other public bodies before she filled the post at Bodmin Library. Beth works upstairs on the first floor of the Library in the computer suite assisting the public in the use of the nine computers the Video Conferencing computer. In Beth's spare time she is a Guide Ranger and has recently come back from a Scout and Guide Jamboree in Sweden.
Joan Timms
Part time library assistant/displays
Joan has worked for the library service for 21 years, firstly as P.A. to the Assistant County Librarian and then on one of the Mobile Libraries as an assistant for four years. Joan liked this job as the Mobile Library visited towns and villages on the North Cornwall coast. She kept her surf board in the cupboard! Since then Joan has spent eight years in Wadebridge Library and then moved to Bodmin Library. Her interests are Scottish Dancing, gardening and walking the dogs.
Janet Watson
Part time library/children's assistant.
Janet has worked for For the library service for sixteen years all here at Bodmin Library. Janet's many interests include gardening, always happy with a fork in her hand. Janet likes to visit the many beautiful houses and gardens that we have here in Cornwall. Her other interest is the theatre especially Musicals.
Janet Wright
Part time library assistant
Janet has worked for the library service for thirteen years, as a relief assistant at Liskeard, Launceston and Looe Libraries. The last two years have been spent here at Bodmin. Before working for the library service Janet ran a thriving market garden business with her husband Nick. Janet's interests are local history, archaeology gardening and riding her horse Colleen.
Angel Ortiz
Part time Library Assistant
The newest edition to our team here at Bodmin Library. Angel has joined us from Liskeard Library last year where he used to operate the Mobile Library for the past 5 years. He works here at Bodmin for two and a half days a week and two and a half days at St Austell Library. Angels interest are his two dogs, taking them for long walks whenever he can and playing badminton.
