Groups     wood1.jpg (1846 bytes)

This is a new page that provides info about other web sites that promote green issues on the web.  Typically these don't belong to individual environment groups as I have those listed on my groups page.

At the moment I have only one site listed,   but it should expand rapidly

naturenet.gif (4243 bytes) I've pinched the description below off their site, as it describes the site fairly well

Naturenet is a voluntary enterprise to provide a good resource for practical conservation on the Web. We are based in the UK, and most of the information available on Naturenet relates to the UK, particularly England. We also include references to other countries outside the UK.

Naturenet is intended for those interested in the countryside, its management, and nature conservation. As well as anyone who enjoys visiting the countryside this includes ecologists, rangers, wardens, volunteers, students, tree wardens, biologists, birdwatchers, land agents and farmers. As well as the index of sites we keep an up to date reference section giving information about organisations which are involved in this field, and formal designations which are given to reserves, parks and other sites.

Since our humble beginnings as a simple list many other pages of information have been added, including countryside law, environmental education, biodiversity and countless others.
