Holidays	Summer is already upon us and we're all looking forward to some great holidays. Tom and Emma are flying to Turkey with their mum whilst Valerie and I take Paul and Danielle to the Algarve. Then we're all off France with a bunch of friends to see the eclipse. No sooner are we back from that and Valerie and I are going to Ireland for a friends wedding. It's all go! Meanwhile, Rosie, our cat, is contentedly enjoying the good weather, oblivious to her imminent holidays at the local cattery!
Home	We've finally finished redecorating the back bedroom. A major overhaul, it has involved building wall to wall shelves, a wardrobe, and a cupboard with built in computer desk. Inspired by BBC's Home Front, all doors have been made using chicken wire and look great!
Sport	After nearly 8 years, I've started playing cricket again in the BT labs' inter-divisional competition. A minor miracle is that I currently average 27 with the bat. Emma and Tom continue to improve their Golf. On the local Pitch and Putt course they regularly hit 9 iron shots some 60 yards and 100 yards respectively.
Work	I have just completed delivery of an NT version of BT's ServiceView for Telemarketing Services product. This is one of the latest enhancements to a product which gives companies the ability to manage their Freefone 0800, Lo-call 0845 and Nationalcall 0870 numbers from an ordinary office PC. My thanks go out to the whole team.
Exams	Danielle is currently sitting her GCSEs. She is then planning to take A Levels in French, History, and Photography. Paul is currently sitting A Levels in Maths and Geography and has just been accepted into BT as a Modern Apprentice starting in September.
