- Directed the migration of customer data to a new High Availability hardware Architecture

- Set up and managed Unit Test, Configuration Management, Security and Productisation (User Guides, Help, Tutorials, and Packaging) Workpackages on £7.5M development programme.
- Appointed and managed a 9 person multi-disciplined team, planning and monitoring the schedule, budget, and risk for their workpackages totalling over £0.5M
- Established iterative development process providing appropriate project control and reporting mechanisms including weekly Progress and Issues Meetings and Quality Gates on all deliveries
- Introduced management metrics to measure product quality and progress towards delivery
- Produced the Test Strategy, Plans and Procedures for each of the 6 major MD6 components
- Built, tested and delivered to plan, each of the 15 monthly integration releases and 5 Programme deliveries
- Established and chaired weekly Fault Targeting Meeting (managing up to 100 new faults per week) and represented the project at the fortnightly Programme Change Control Board
- Managed sub-contract to provide Configuration and Build Management
- Produced and published guidelines on the Millennium Problem
- Established WWW as a primary project communication mechanism
- Managed Unit’s Modern Apprentice and mentored another to NVQ Level 2 in IT
