Diss continued their excellent run of away form
when they made it five wins from seven leagues games played when
they won at Cornard last Saturday. In contrast they have won at
Brewers Green Lane just once in six starts.
The Tangerines got off to a perfect start when
they took the lead in the 3rd minute. Ben Nower threw
the ball out to Danny Partridge on the wing. He ran towards the
goal line and sent his cross to the far post for Alan North to
play the ball back. He found Ben Deacon in space to shoot in
from eight yards out for his 11th goal of the season.
Diss made it 2-0 in the 10th minute when Ed Cussons
sent the ball over for Steve Best to head in for his 3rd
goal of the season.

North missed a chance to increase the lead but
Luke Catchpole scored a superb goal just before half time. He
won the ball and moved forward before sending a 30 yard shot
past Darren Moyes.

(Luke Catchpole's long range shot puts Diss 3 up.)
Cornard had more of the play in the second half
after they pulled a goal back in the opening minute of the half.
Richie Meadows played the ball through for Jason carter to slip
his shot past Nower. The Diss goalkeeper made good saves to keep
out shots by Ryan Lions and Meadows. Danny McKail drew a fine
save from Moyes but he was able to float the ball over him to
make it 4-1 just before the end following a fine pass from
Catchpole.
