Applications for Membership. How to join the Sealed Knot.

Notice; it takes approximately 6 weeks for a full, or temporary, memberships to be approved. Types of membership include family membrships, individual memberships, student memberships, and temporary memberships

Temporary memberships are provided so interested parties can take a brief look at the Sealed Knot from the inside. This includes living on a plastic camp-site. Dressing in an appropriate Civil War costume. Instruction in safe handling of weapons, combat, and drilling. Training with the regiment will be part of a temporary member's initiation prior to forming up for their first Civil War battle. (For this purpose clothing and essential assessories will be provided by the regiment.) Access to the Sealed Knot's living history camp-site for refreshment and sustinance before and after the muster (battle), and later the Sealed Knot members private beer tent will be open for more entertainment. Long standing Sealed Knot members will be on site to offer advice on authentic styles of attyer, accessories, and accutriments, and to tell tales, and to sing of the of the wars. and the Sealed Knot past. Please note; A temporary membership is valid for one nominated muster weekend only.

WHAT DO I GET IF I TAKE OUT A TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP WITH THE SEALED KNOT?

You will be entitled to rights and privilidges of a full member according to your status as set out in the Sealed Knot's terms and conditions of membership. Access to a copy of the Sealed Knot's terms & conditions can be found at the bottom of this page.
