These three pictures are of the same view looking down Upper Church Street, taken at different periods in time, being approximately 1999, 1950 and 1900
  

 

 

Upper Church street again, but this time taken from the opposite direction. The left hand picture was taken in 1999. The right hand dates circa 1900, and shows school children in front of the village school which is hidden from view behind trees to the right .
