Welcome to the Datchet Border Morris Homepage 2008

We perform dances in the English border morris style (from the England/Wales border region), plus a Mummer’s Play and Sword Dance around Christmas time. We black our faces and wear black and red tatter-coats (<- see picture!).

We perform mainly for our own enjoyment, and that of our audience, but also to preserve the tradition and to raise money for local charities (last winter - British Lung Foundation).

We practice on Monday evenings from 8pm in Datchet Village (near Windsor in Berkshire, England) WI Hall. (See map).
