Hongwell cars can be found in many different types
of transporter sets. The Hongwell cars are often found in sets that
are sold under a different brand name other than Hongwell Cararama.
Below you will find some pictures of transporter sets that i have
obtained so far. There are many more than this to be found!!
This transporter set carries the Hongwell brand
name. As you can see from the picture there are 4 cars contained in
this set, they are, Met Blue MB M Class, Silver Saab 9-5, Red MB
E300T and a Yellow MB CLK Coupe.
This transporter set was sold in a UK supermarket
chain (Tesco) (1st Version), the packaging carries the brand name of
Tesco. As previous there are 4 cars in the set, the cars are the same
color and make as above but there are some differences. The silver
Saab 9-5 in the above Hongwell transporter set has number plates to
the front and the rear where as this Saab 9-5 in this set only has
the number plate on the front. Another number plate variation can be
found on the Yellow MB CLK Coupe, the above Hongwell set has the
number plate to the front and rear where-as this one again only has
it to the front.
This is the 2nd version of the Tesco transporter
set. Again packaging carries the Tesco brand name. The 4 cars in this
set are completly different from the 1st version. This one contains a
BMW X5 in Light Green, Jaguar S-Type in Silver, MB S-Class in Red and
a Porsche 911 GT2 in Yellow
Kidz Only Auto-Transporter set, i managed to
obtain this set from a friend (Frank S) in Germany, The models in
this set are the same color and make as those contained with in the
Tesco 2nd version set. There are some noticable differences between
the models. The Jaguar S-Type in Silver in this set has Beige
interior where as the one in the Tesco set has Grey interior. Another
variation that i found was with the MB S Class, this one in this set
has Silver interior where as the one in the Tesco set has Lt Grey interior.
Dickie Spielzeug Diecast Truck Stop Transporter
Set. Once again 4 cars can be found here, these cars are, Met Blue
BMW 3 Series Touring, All White BMW 5 Series, Green MB S-Class and a
Yellow MB E300T.
The 4 cars found in this set are the same as the
ones found in the Kidz Only Set and the 2nd Version of the Tesco set.
Light Green BMW X5, Silver Jaguar S-Type, Red MB S-Class and the
Yellow Porsche 911 GT2. This set Carries the Chad Valley brand name
and i obtained it through Wolworths (UK Chain)
Another transporter set which carries the Chad
Valley brand name, again obtained from Wolworths but this time 4
different cars are found in comparison to the previous Chad Valley
Set (Above). Red Mitsubishi Lancer, All White BMW 5 Series, Met Green
Rav 4 2000 and a Yellow Saab 9-3. |
