TVR Grantura & Ford Falcon progress

As in 2008, Dave and I won Class C of the CSCC Swinging Sixties series - it was a good year with pretty solid reliability apart from the issues at the inter-series race at Donington where we lost some oil pressure. For 2010 I am planning to do a few Future Classics races with Martin Stackpoole and we have stripped the engine down as it was losing oil pressure at low revs. We have found that one of the camshaft bearings has displaced to allow the oil to pass out of the gallery directly into the front cover! I am taking the block and camshaft up to Mass to have them fit some new bearings and hopefully that'll resolve the issue.

Dave and I have put in an entry with the TVR for the 2010 Classic Le Mans too; hopefully we'll be accepted but it's far from a certainty. The HTP was granted for the TVR in early November and the car is looking awesome. The Falcon is progressing far too slowly however!
