Ni Kawa Kai
Karate Jutsu, Aikido, Iaido, Sai Jutsu, Jodo

Ni Kawa Kai is a martial arts school and association based in the UK primarily in the Bournemouth and Christchurch area of Dorset. We teach Karate, Aikido and a number of weapons styles including the Japanese arts of Jodo, Bojutsu, and Iaido and traditional Okinawan weapons such as Sai and Tonfa.

At Ni Kawa Kai we offer a relaxed and friendly environment. There is an active 'out of hours' social life, most training sessions end up in the bar, and the monthly curry night has become an established tradition.

Ni Kawa Kai has regular classes for children. We accept kids from the age of 5 upwards.

If you would like any further information please feel free to contact us by email. Further contact information can be found on the page 'Training Venues & Times'.

8 August, 2005 - Website Update

I've finally solved the problem I was having updating the site ::sigh:: it was caused by an over zealous firewall. Anyway, it looks like we got another Cracked Finger award so thanks, whoever it was that sorted that one out for us.

14 January, 2005 - Website Update

I've added two new articles added to the articles page. One is Graham's article on Okinawan White Crane and the other was written by Martin Watts and covers the pushing hands lesson he taught in December including video clips explaining and demonstrating each technique.

10 January, 2005 - Website Update

A brand new forum has replaced the old message board. Please try it out so I can find out if there are any problems that need sorting out. You can now post images, HTML and smilies too. Those of you who are slightly more technophobic can continue to post ordinary text if you want to!. Although there are more fields you can fill in for a posting, don't be put off because they are all optional. Enjoy :-)
