Unfortunately, there is no known photograph of my grandfather William Talbot,
who was born at Harwell in 1839.

Ernest John Brignall, born 1873 Etchingham SSX (picture taken about 1916 when he was
in his early 40s); Alice Mary Wells, (wife of Ernest John) born 1873 Caversham OXF
(picture taken when Alice was a young teenager);
In the second row the pictures are of Leslie Talbot, born 1896 at Littleworth,
Bensington OXF, son of William and Rubacelle (picture taken when he was about 4 years old);
and Lilian Besford Brignall, born Cholsey BRK 1903, daughter of Ernest John and Alice Mary
and wife of Leslie (picture taken on the occasion of her Confirmation at age of 13);
Bottom picture is of John Talbot, born Oxford OXF 1930, son of Leslie and Lilian Besford
(picture taken at age 12).
