EPISODE 6:
What happens:  The big day has arrived and Denise's nerves are kept under control by a
constant stream of ciggies, things aren't helped when Dave turns up unanounced. Everyone
else has their own problems; Nana forgets her comfortable shoes, Cheryl's dress is too tight
and Jim has the squits, whisky and brandy help everyone stay calm. Twiggy's brought some
sports gear to sell at the reception and Cheryl plans to cop off with him later. After everybody
else leaves for the church, Denise has a heart-to-heart with her dad and eventually exits to
become Mrs Dave Best.

What they eat: Cheese and Piccalilly sandwich.
Jim says My Arse:  Preparations.
Magic Moments:  JIM(pouring whisky): Do you want some, Norma?
                              NORMA: Well, I usually have a sherry at Christmas...my stout of an
                              evening...
                              JIM: Yes or no?
                              NORMA: Yes.

                              MARY: Oh, look at Antony's lovely haircut. You look like a little
                              choirboy.
                              JIM: He looks like a little gay boy.

                              JOE: Denise.
                              DENISE: Hiya Joe.
                              JOE: Nice outfit.
                            DENISE: Thanks Joe.
                              JIM: Steady on Joe...you silver-tongued charmer.
                   
                              JIM: I'm sorry Denise...the last thing I wanted was to be stood at the
                              alter with you with ring-sting. I'll tell you what, if they pass that
                              collection box round, it won't be money I'll be putting in it.
