A string of murders spanning fifty years lead Jeff and Jeannie to a notorious haunted hotel, also
investigating are various journalists, exorcists and ghost hunters. After a long absence Marty
re-enters Jeff's life and soon runs into the hotel's restless spirits whilst Jeff is bemused by
Jeannie's radical change in personality as she finally succumbs to his charms(or does she?)
Marty's new shoe-shrinking skill proves to have it's uses.

REVENGE OF THE BOG PEOPLE

Jeff encounters his ex-fiancé; Freya whilst in hospital recovering from a head injury and vows to find her long lost father, a renowned archaeologist, Jeff also hopes for a reconciliation with Freya.
The search leads to the museum where Freya's father's research on the remains of the ancient 'bog people' continues. Jeannie becomes jealous at Jeff's involvement with Freya and Marty does his best to persuade Jeff not to get involved. However, Marty is kept busy by Nesbit; an unruly ghost placed in his charge by Wyvern. The museum soon reveals it's dark secret.

O HAPPY ISLE

A young gay man supposedly commits suicide on a remote Scottish island, the local police show little interest and Jeff and Jeannie are called in to investigate. The islanders are very close knit and are hostile to outsiders, most of their time is spent sampling the local brew; Iron Man beer.
The dead man worked at the island's brewery and investigations begin there. Marty's own
detective skills uncover a large scale beer export business, secret laboratries and sinister forms of
ancient justice. The beer's secret ingredient is discovered which explains the locals' behaviour and Jeff finds he has an admirer.

Wyvern teaches Marty the art of shape shifting resulting in a little teapot and a 'horse with tits', whilst Jeff and Jeannie pose as scientists to infiltrate the undergroud laboratries of the Pain
Corporation and the mysterious Colonel Anger. They discover the production of a serum which can delay pain and even death for hours or even days, it was discovered by Anger in the South American rainforests and is keeping him alive. A side effect allows both Anger his assistant
Ramon to see Marty, and Anger attempts to persuade Marty to divulge the secrets of the dead.
Jeff and Jeannie try to tell each other their true feelings for the other but are interupted by the
delayed pain of a fight hours earlier.
