Brought thousands of years back in time as part of Fenric's game, the Ancient One followed the flask in which Fenric was imprisoned through Europe, spawning Haemovores and Vampire legends along the way.
The Ancient One eventually followed a Viking raiding party, and the flask, to Britain where it lay in wait until Fenric was ready to spring it's trap..
