A creature of pure antimatter energy that attacked anyone foolish enough to trespass on Zeta Minor, the boundary between the universes of matter and antimatter.
Attacking only at night, the creature sucked the life out of it's victims in a process compared to rapid freeze-drying, leaving only a lifeless, dessicated husk.
