Cybernetic creatures with tentacle-draped heads housed in glass-domed life-support machines. Arcturans were old enemies of the Ice Warriors.

Arcturus was part of a Galactic Federation team of delegates sent to Peladon. With a homeworld devoid of mineral wealth Arcturus allied itself with an anti-federation faction in return for Peladon's mineral deposits.
