Description:
Large disembodied brains served with eyestalks. Housed in glass bell-jar containers and kept alive by life-support equipment, these creatures used their intelligence to build the city of Morphoton after their brains outgrew their bodies.
Unable to fend for themselves the brain creatures enslaved others with a hypnotic device called a Mesmeron. Thus tended by deluded servants the brain creatures lay in wait to entrap more unfortunate visitors.
