Description:

Chloris was home to primitive, feudal civilisations, unable to develop due to the thick, agressive vegetation that covered the planet coupled with the extreme scarcity of metal ore. Thus lacking metal tools the Chlorisians could not clear the jungles and lived in scattered princedoms.

Metal objects of any kind were highly prized, offering great wealth and power to those that possessed them. The only ore mine was owned by the tyrannical Lady Adrasta, who used her monopoly on metal to dominate the surrounding area, opposed only by a group of greedy, metal hungry bandits.

When visitors from another world arrived offering to trade their unlimited metal supplies, Adrasta took drastic steps to protect her monopoly, risking the destruction of Chloris in order to maintain her petty dictatorship.
