CYBERMAT

Description:

Cybernetic rodents used by the Cybermen for sneak attacks, squirming through nooks and crannies and attacking the unwary.

Cybermats came in two main variants; one resembling a large bug, and the other a metallic serpent. They also varied in size, some small enough to fit in the palm of the hand.

Homing in on their victim's brain patterns, Cybermats would either bite them with sharp metal teeth, sometime injecting poison, or fire at them with energy weapons mounted in the eyes.
