Description:

Powerful lifeforms with the ability to utilise the almost magical properties of psyco-kinetic energy. Horned, hoofed and devilish in appearance the Dæmons were able to change their size from over thirty feet tall to microscopic dimensions, causing tremendous heatwaves due to the resultant release of energy.

The Dæmons influenced mankind's development on Earth for over 100,000 years as part of an experiment, travelling to the planet in large spaceships which were then shrunk and hidden in places such as burial barrows.

The Dæmons used their powers to 'kick out' the Neanderthal species, allowing mankind to flourish and inspired the Greek civilisation, the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution as well as countless legends about magic, horned demons and devils.

Azal, the last of the Dæmons, was summoned by the sinister clergyman Mr. Magister and his cultists at Devil's End. The Dæmon's experiment on Earth was at an end and it was up to Azal to decide whether to deem it a failure and destroy Humanity, or award success and pass his 'magical' powers on to another individual to rule over the Earth. Naturally Magister though he would be the logical choice.
