A surly and aggressive civilisation that claimed to be masters of the Ten Galaxies. The Dominators conquered the galaxy in advanced, saucer shaped craft fuelled by absorbing radiation.
After invading a planet, the Dominators enslaved the inhabitants, assessing their usefulness by a series of strength and intelligence tests.
Those passing the tests would be set to work, replacing the Dominator's Quark work units while they prepared other worlds for colonisation. Those that were deemed to be useless were doomed to remain on their world while it was blown up and the resultant radioactive blast used to fuel the Dominator's war fleet.
