Description:

Humanoid species not dissimilar to Humans. Although officially led by the council, headed by the Malin, Karfel was actually ruled by the despotic Borad. Under the Borad's reign all reflective surfaces were banned and the healthy partnership with the Bandrils destroyed by cutting off their grain supply.

Anyone opposing these policies was branded a traitor and thrown into the Timelash, a time corridor leading to times and places unkown. Despite this, a small rebel movement grew from the Morlox-infested tunnels of Karfel, reaching even members of the nobility.
