A crippled and dying, yet brilliant and ruthless businessman. Head of Cybus Industries and subsidiaries such as International Electromatics and Vitex, John Lumic's business empire stretched across a parallel Earth. Travelling this alternate world in his zeppellin, Lumic advanced the planet with his inventions, including the EarPod. However Lumic was no philanthropist, for Cybus Industries' achievements represented it's owner's desire for immortality.
Restricted to a life-support wheelchair, Lumic invented a way of preserving the Human brain and housing it within a skin of metal with a heart of steel. Not content with keeping himself alive by this method, he sought to bestow this gift of immortality to all of Mankind, controlling them via their EarPods and forcing them to undertake the ultimate upgrade into Human-point-two, a cybernetic lifeform also known as Cyberman.
