Who is in these trees?

As far as possible living persons have been excluded from these charts, only the dead and Elders have a place in the Chart. The most sketchy information is included for living persons to enable the Children to find a Entry. Also if you are reading this you cannot be a Ancestor so rejoice.

The main index just shows the contents of the files, it is called "Whole File Report" Document is a list of Documents with information about the People in the Trees. Person Names is a long list with 922 names in it. Surnames are a good place to start just find the one you want then take it from there, Pictures are accessible from the Person that they apply too, the charts are Pictures. Place names are places associated with individuals in the Tree.

Pictures have been made small and are best viewed on screen, they are not ideal for printing. When you see a highlighted portion of text click on it and it will take you to a relevant item, be it a map or a picture. Normally you would use the Browsers Back control to return. The Pictures have been sized to download on a 56K modem between 5 and 30 seconds. However the Charts are bigger so be patient, it would be a good idea to open a new window and use one to view the chart and the other, the detail.

Names and Dates.

Since christian names run in families it is required to be able to tell them apart. For this purpose the date of birth has been added onto the name. So William Ritchie 1782 was born in 1782. Female names always are shown as unmarried version, so do not change.
