Windygates was at least a single cottage with two ends. In other words a Pair of Cottages. Semi Detached in modern slang. Probably thatched with Lake Of Monteith reeds
In 1841 a family of WoodCutters live in it. Robert Peiaunt with wife and five children. In number two lives Catherine King with 2 others.
