Eleazor was a Military person while living in Lanark, before marriage was a Colour Sergeant in the 95th Highlanders, then in the 2nd Royal Lanark Militia. When he retired to Perth he was a Handloom Weaver.
He had a unfortunate family with his wife ending in a Asylum two children born Deaf and Dumb, four died before maturity only Mary alive at home when 19.

Today Rhynd is a district of Perth it is at the top of the hill on the exit towords Edinburgh.

At age 33/35 Eleazer was a Colour Sergeant in the 95th Highlanders.
At death of Catherine 1864 lived in Lanark, was a Sergeant in the 2nd Royal Lanark Militia.

At death of Eleazor 1876 was a Ploughman.

In 1881 census lived at 24 Market St. aged 56 other resident was Robert Sage age 6 William age 18 Mary age 19. Recorded as a General labourer.
