Reports

A new Table Tennis League for Herefordshire has been started this season. Each team consists of 2 players and it is aimed at encouraging Juniors [U21], and beginners of all ages, into competitive Table Tennis. Each match only takes one and a half-hours to play so it finishes much earlier than the normal 3 player system. Because of this it has attracted many junior players who would not have entered the 3 player league.

18 teams have entered the league, which is split into 3 Divisions. One division for any junior playing with a senior experienced player. A second division for a junior playing with a Parent. The Third division is made up of mixed teams of all juniors, all Ladies, all over 60’s or family teams where both the players are beginners.
