ETTA
RULE CHANGE
Last
year the ETTA adopted the following ITTF rule change:
2.4.7 The racket covering
should be used as it has been authorized without any physical, chemical or
other treatment,(except normal wear) – changing or modifying playing
properties, friction, outlook, colour, structure, surface, etc.
The
ITTF publishes lists of approved rubbers indicating by a colour code those
previously but now ‘banned’. The ETTA currently allows local Leagues to accept
these ‘banned’ rubbers at local level. Until some further instruction comes
from the ETTA these rubbers can continue to be used. However, these ‘banned’ rubbers cannot be used in the inter-League or
Masters competitions. You have been warned!!!
A
copy of the 2009 ETTA Approved Laws will be sent to all teams after receipt
from the ETTA.

And

spotting them, but if you do, please let me know.
