With careful planting and design, you can
create a beautiful, low maintenance garden which will provide colour and
interest throughout the year.
A low maintenance garden can
contain a fascinating range of plants, and can incorporate almost as many
attractive features as you'd find in a more labour intensive plot.
Low maintenance borders can be
planted for year-round interest. Ponds or water features need little looking
after, once installed, and will give lasting pleasure. Walls and fences can be
furnished with trouble-free climbers. A simple automatic watering system will
enable you to decorate your patio with a rich assortment of low maintenance
containers.
'Easy care' gardens can also
be wildlife friendly and whether or not you are organically minded they are, by
default, less environmentally damaging than those where chemicals are used.
