My Wife Claud and I have two Irish Wolfhounds, Xhebeen (Shebeen, but here in Belgium, their names have to start with a year letter and she was 'X'!) and Ylinor (Elly). Xhebeen a wheaten brindle who is now (July 2003) five and a half years old and Elly a black who is four years two months. We live next to a huge forest on the outskirts of Brussels and we walk them there every day. Elly is a keen courser and we've run for for three seasons now. The only problem is that at the moment, she's the only licenced racing Wolfhound in the country, so she often has to run against other breeds (usually Deerhounds)

Dogs in Car 3 We have a Fiat Multipla, an ideal car for accommodating two Wolfhounds and three humans. It's relatively small, but spacious enough for all. We've taken them to the beach in Normandy and to the European Coursing Championships in both France and Italy in it

X&Y - Market On Sundays we walk them through the forest to the local market where they blag food left, right and centre. The nice lady on the meat stall in the picture owns Afghans and is crazy about out two, which is why they get half a white pudding each every week.

Elly @ Monte Bondone '03 Elly running against Orlando Von Schloss Neuschwanstein, a bitch from Hungary owned by Tamas Barosci, in this year's Europea Coursing Champinships in Monte Bondone in Italy. There was an entry of 13 Wolfhounds and Elly came 9th overall and enjoyed herself thoroughly.
