Recommendations

Photography                Trevor Sandilands (01555 893950) has taken the photographs at both my own 

                                                            and my sister's wedding and as you can see, they are lovely. Trevor himself is 

                                                            very friendly and certainly puts everyone at ease.

Cars                                           Ian Brown of Carstairs (01555 870287) provided 2 Limos. a Rolls and a Merc. 

                                                            As always, they were spotless and on time. What more can you ask for.....

Buses                            Slocoach of Motherwell did an excellent job providing executive minibuses and 

                                                            a door to door service for all our guests. Unfortunately they have now stopped 

                                                            the private hire side of the business.

Hotel                            The Cartland Bridge Hotel can only be very highly recommended after the excellent 

                                                            job they did stepping in at the last moment after the New Lanark Mill Hotel badly let

                                                            us down.  DON'T waste your time contemplating a wedding at the Mill Hotel unless

                                                            you are happy being fobbed of with a gym hall and a bar on trestle tables (at the last

                                                            moment - invites printed etc) after booking an expensive function suite. WORST

                                                            MANAGEMENT TEAM I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

FAVOURS                                 Personalized Malt Whisky Miniatures hand delivered by Old Bothwell Wines &

                                                            Spirits Co. Ltd. Excellent service and very reasonably priced.

                                                            Handmade chocolates presented in silver personalized envelopes went down a treat.

CHATELHERAULT          A gorgeous setting (the weather certainly helped) and a beautiful ceremony performed 

                                                            by Jean Lavelle - Registrar (01698 454211).
