bout the authors -
and where the Chronicles came from
Kit Le Seelleur
is a Londoner, married to a Yorkshire-man, uprooted and now living in
Yorkshire. The Chronicles started life as articles for the People And Dogs Society
magazine, Pawprints, and just rolled on from there. Some of them begged to be
written from another point of view, and so the 'co-authors' were pressed into service -
not unwillingly.

Bess - Nottsbess from Meadowpark (26.3.88 - 29.6.93)
Our very first Bernese, a gentle, sweet-natured lady; the very best introduction
to the breed that anyone could want.

Rusty - Coliburn Sirius (18.5.93 - 4.7.95)
Our 'big lad', so cute and fluffy as a puppy, he grew into a real handsome fellow,
admired by all who saw him.

Tessa - Manadori's Class Of Its Own (5.9.95 - 9.7.01)
Our third and, so far, last companion. Her love of life overflowed into everything she
did;
her middle name was 'enthusiasm'.
The future of the Chronicles
Since Tessa's death the future of the Chronicles is unclear. We haven't the heart for another dog at present - but who knows what will happen in the future. Watch this space.
