The People And Dogs Society is a charity of which I have been a member for many years. PADS is a UK charity dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership. They have lots of on line information on their website and offer an online advice service. Please try to support them.

I don't breed my dogs, but if you want a Bernese puppy or a rescued dog, I suggest you get in touch with your national Kennel Club (most of them have websites, so look in the search engines). Ask to be put in touch with the Breed Club or Breed Rescue in your area. Of course, you could do worse than browse the Bernese Mountain Dog Breeder's Webring.
