The magazine is published 12 times per year and is distributed by mail. It is a non-profit-making venture produced in the spare time of the editorial team and has been published continuously since 1969. The contents of FFn include plans, model descriptions, technical analyses of designs and performance, contest reports and other information about free flight contest flying. The scope of FFn is duration model aircraft in the categories FAI, open, mini and indoor, in the forms power, rubber, handlaunch, catapult and towline glider and CO2. We also aim to keep abreast of new classes and diversifications, such as electric powered models.
