The Race Against Cancer will return in 2009 . . .

14/08/2008 - TRAC Future . . .

Following on from the success of the inaugral event on 2007, there are plans to run a second event in the fourth quarter of 2009. This will be on an even larger scale with more international drivers with a view to raising more money for Cancer Research UK, the nominated charity of TRAC. More details will follow in due course.

It has also been brought to our attention that an unofficial Wikipedia page of TRAC has been created. This may be reached here.

26/06/2008 - "The Race Against Cancer - The Show"

The TV show of TRAC 2007 premiered on Saturday 28th June on Motors TV.

The 60 minute show was presented by award winning actress Emma Rigby, shot on site at the leading supercar club, P1 North. The show featured the amazing final race in full, as well as a collection of exciting features and interviews, including the likes of a Caterham being pushed to the limit and an intimate chat with BRDC Chairman Damon Hill.

The first Race Against Cancer was hosted at the end of 2007. The event was aimed at bringing together some of the brightest talents in motorsport together for a one off kart race. Many international names flew in for what turned out to be a spectacular final race and a thoroughly enjoyable day of racing. All proceeds of the event were donated to Cancer Research UK.

Race results from superpole, heats and the final are available here.

From Cancer Research UK, both Rick and Matt, we would like to once again give a big thank you to everyone involved for helping to make this event happen!
