The Trust located a second-hand bell during 2002 which has been used to augment the ring of five to six. The bell was acquired from a marine artefacts dealer in Devon.

The parish raised funds to repair the bell-frame and augmented the minor-key ring of three to six. The photograph to the right shows the "new" tenor bell in the bell-hangers workshop prior to installation in 2007.
The Trust provided the three "new" bells.

The chime of eight bells are to be re-hung for traditional full-circle ringing. The Trust has supplied a bell which will be used for chiming in place of the existing tenor bell. This bell was the 7th of the pre-2006 ring at Abingdon.
