It is hoped that the ring of three will be augmented to six. The Trust has located two surplus bells from Kettering, Northamptonshire which should be suitable as trebles of the augmented ring.
Sandford Orcas, Dorset, St Nicholas
The cracked fifth bell was replaced during 2005 with a bell supplied by the Trust. It was one of three bells we acquired from a redundant church in New Shildon, County Durham.
Chideock, Dorset, St Giles
The heavy ring of five is to be augmented to six. The parish has purchased a bell removed from the redundant church of St Catherine, Dodington, Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Winterborne Stickland, Dorset, St Mary
The out of tune treble of the ring of four has been replaced with one of the pre-2010 ring at Shiplake, Oxfordshire. The work was completed in December 2010.
