A few years ago we located the treble bell (ex-Apethorpe) when the bells were augmented to four. In March 2002 the bells were augmented to five using a bell donated by the Trust. This bell was part of the clock chime from New Shildon, Co. Durham.
Rolleston, Nottinghamshire, Holy Trinity
We located the new treble bell when the bells were restored and augmented from a ring of four to six during 2001. A new bell (second) was cast to complete the ring.
Thoroton, Nottinghamshire, St Helena
The ring of two was restored and augmented to three in 2008 by adding a tenor bell acquired by the Trust. The Southwell & Nottingham Bell Restoration Fund purchased a bell from the Trust in 2010 and it was installed in 2011 as the treble of four.
Scarrington, Nottinghamshire, St John of Beverley
An ex-Trinity House buoy bell has been installed as the treble of the ring of six bells. Scarrington is the fourth church to have a former buoy bell hung as part of a ring of bells.
Gringley-on-the-Hill, Nottinghamshire, SS. Peter & Paul
The Trust located two bells which have been used to augment this 15 cwt ring of four bells to a ring of six. The project was completed during January 2002.
