When the bells were recently restored, the two trebles of the ring of eight were replaced by new bells. The surplus second bell has been re-located at Linby near to Nottingham through the efforts of George Dawson. The Trust helped to find a new home for the surplus treble bell. We assisted the augmentation project at Farndon by locating one of the two bells added to the pre-2000 ring of four. The surplus bell came from the Isle of Wight and is now the second of the ring of six. |

Twelve years after the initial enquiry to find three bells to augment the ring from three to six we have finally located a bell. The proposed second of six is the former 3rd from Kettering, Northamptonshire and a new bell is to be cast to be the treble of six. A few years ago the bells were augmented to four by the addition of a surplus bell from Sheffield. |
