Orange, NSW, Holy Trinity

A ring of eight bells was installed during 2007 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the church building.

Holy Trinity church like many other church buildings in Australia was designed to hold a ring of bells but they had yet to be installed.

The Trust had been actively looking to locate and acquire bells for this project and we located five of the eight bells.

Kidderminster, Worcestershire,
St Mary & All Saints

The pre-2003 ring of bells was cast by four different founders spanning 2 centuries. The bells have been replaced by a modern ring of twelve and several of the old ring have been re-used elsewhere. The old 7th bell is now the tenor at Holy Trinity, Orange. It was cast by Abel Rudhall in 1754.

Ex-Trinity House buoy bells

The Keltek Trust acquired a large quantity of former buoy bells during 2002 and these have proved very useful for a number of projects. ANZAB purchased two bells from the Trust and one of these is the 4th of the ring of eight.

Other bells

Several  other redundant and surplus bells have been acquired for the project. They include bells from redundant churches in Scarborough and Croydon.
