Marr College, Troon - Class of '63-'69 Reunion 2001

A few of the more energetic of us took a pleasant stroll along the beach from Barassie to Irvine Beach Park. The Ship Inn is again recomended, particularly for traditional Scottish fare, and haggis, black pudding and tatties and mince were felt to have the edge over Marr school lunches. Even over the traditional Tuesday menu of corned beef, beetroot and potatoes followed by stodge and custard!
