Kescrg (Kent and East Sussex Canal Restoration Group) was founded in 1975 and provides volunteers to help restore canals and waterways throughout Britain. If you are interested in the Conservation and Preservation of our National Heritage, explore our Web site to find out more about how you can help.

We run a number of volunteer Working Weekends on Canal Sites. In addition a residential Work Camp is held during the last week in July.

Volunteers are aged between 16 and 68, with an almost even mix of male and female members. No previous experience is neccessary. Working parties normally consist of between 10 and 20 people and new recruits are always welcome
