Vasart (Ysart Brothers) Bottle

The body shape of this bottle is more "conical" than the "Monart ZG" profile of others shown in this article. Also, at the angle of the photo, the canes fill the entire base section. These features are seen in other Vasart Inkwells but I cannot say which, if any, are more regularly seen in Vasart work. The striping of the neck and well section is almost indiscernible in the photo but is quite clear, in good lighting, in normal viewing. Overall height, including stopper: 10.7 cm (4 3/16 inch) |
