A good shape and a well-balanced Grape and Cable pattern make this an attractive item. Note how the smooth curves of the top contrast with the outer shell pattern of the feet, and yet both design elements fit perfectly with the main motif.

It can be seen that the base does not show a Northwood mark - that's because it's on the inside of the base and can only be clearly seen when viewed in strong light! Perhaps you have also noticed that this example has a defect - one of the folded lips has a piece missing from the end. Whether damage of this type drastically reduces the value is a debatable point, but it does make it cheaper to acquire!
