Lots of bubbles. The central cane is pleasing but unremarkable. The two inner rows of canes are of a similar structure to those seen in Weight 2. The large outer canes are untidy but the design concept is interesting. |

The dome is low but not flat. It is the high profile of the ground that makes this weight look squat. The photo has picked up the overall mass of bubbles within the dome. However, what is not clear is the fact that many of the bubbles close to the surface cause this weight to have a very uneven surface. From UV testing and the structure of the canes, I believe this is an "Ysart Brothers" period weight. |
